RE-Invest 2016, the second edition of the annual Global Renewable Energy Investors’ Meet & Expo, will be held from 8 – 10 December 2017 at Greater Noida, India. It will build upon the success of RE-Invest 2015 and explore the advances made on the ground to achieve India's target of 175 GW renewable energy capacity by 2022.
It will provide a robust engagement platform for government stakeholders, investors and top executives from the Indian and international renewable energy sectors.
The objective of the RE-Invest series of conference-expos is to showcase India’s renewable energy potential and the Government's efforts to develop and scale up the country’s installed RE capacity to meet the national energy requirement in a socially, economically and ecologically sustainable manner.
RE-Invest 2016 edition will not only continue the ongoing information campaign on renewable energy in India to established stakeholders, but also reach out to newer segments of investors and entrepreneurs like start-ups and venture capitalists interested in clean energy.
RE-Invest 2016 is being organised by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy in partnership with the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (FICCI), with YES Bank as the knowledge partner.
