Hardeep Singh Dang is a member of the legislative assembly (MLA) from Suwasra, Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, India. He is the cabinet minister of New and Renewable Energy & Environment, Government of Madhya Pradesh.

Abhishek Bansal is a Director with Actis where he is responsible for originating and managing energy investments in Asia. He has close to 15 years of investing experience in energy and infrastructure sectors in growth markets. Abhishek was instrumental in setting up Ostro Energy which Actis’ first renewable platform in the Indian market and was responsible for managing the investment until exit. He is currently managing Actis’ Sprng investment in India and serves as its board member.

Avaneesh Shukla is an executive engineer in Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited and has successfully executed 250 MW Mandsaur Solar Project and 750 MW Rewa Solar Project. He has been playing an instrumental role in the planning and execution of upcoming 1500 MW solar parks and 600 MW Omkareshwar Floating Solar Project in Madhya Pradesh.

A well-rounded development professional, with a strong track record in mobilizing private investment for infrastructure and creating new markets by working across policy makers, industry leaders, stakeholders, academia and media in South Asia, East Asia and Pacific, Middle East and North Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. An IIT and IIM alum, Mr. Mehrotra is a recipient of World Bank Group President’s Award for Excellence for helping India reach grid parity for renewable power through the landmark Rewa project and helping India be in the forefront of the emerging disruptive trends such as corporate procurement of renewable energy. In his previous role he worked in the Secretariat for the Committee on Infrastructure, headed by the Prime Minister in the erstwhile Planning Commission, where he contributed to national level policy, investment frameworks and institutional capacity building to commercialize and modernize infrastructure. He contributed to shaping of marquee transactions such as Delhi and Mumbai airport privatizations and the National Highway Development Program.

Mr Chintan Shah was born on 4th July, 1974 in the state of Gujarat. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The MS University of Vadodara. Mr. Chintan Shah is currently working as Director (Technical) with M/s Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) and handling different portfolios since 5th March, 2018 at IREDA. IREDA is primarily a Non-Banking Financial Company and the only dedicated financial institution for financing and promoting Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency and Conservation Projects in the country. As Director (Technical) he is responsible for achieving MOU Targets set with regard to Loan Sanctions, Disbursement, Gross Margin, Gross Sales, NPAs, Recovery from NPAs, Corporate Social Responsibility, Sustainable Development, Research and Development etc. Also responsible for project appraisal, financing, policy formulation, planning and monitoring of Renewable Energy Projects of Wind, Small Hydro, Medium and Large Hydro, Biomass, Cogeneration, Solar Energy, Biogas, Waste to Energy and Energy Efficiency Projects etc. Prior to joining IREDA, he was serving as President with SUZLON Group of Companies. He started his career from TERI as Research Associate in the year 1996 and left TERI in 2001 He joined SUZLON as General Manager in the year 2001. He worked as President with SUZLON till February, 2018 before joining IREDA as Director (Technical). He is working in the renewable energy field for the last 26 years covering various activities including manufacturing of RE Systems/Products, project execution, project consultancy, project financing, policy planning etc. at different capacities in reputed Industries/Institutions.

Ms. Surbhi Goyal has been working with the World Bank for more than 13 years and is leading some of the most innovative projects in the renewable energy sector. Such projects in her portfolio include support to the MNRE’s Solar Park Scheme by facilitating shared infrastructure facilities through Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited. 750 MW Rewa Solar Park was one such project that set the milestone in solar energy sector and was recently dedicated to the Nation by Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi. She is leading an engagement with Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited in promoting nascent technologies in renewable energy, such as, floating solar, solar-wind hybrid, and battery energy storage solutions. She also led the Bank’s multi-billion portfolio with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, the country’s central transmission utility and was an integral part of achieving its motto of One Nation-One Grid-One Frequency. She has been recognized as one of the ‘Asia's Most Influential Women in Renewable Energy’. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
